The
Planetarium at the Reading Public Museum offers some interesting
Science Fact outings. I recently attended the showing of their
stars series entitled: Light Years From Andromeda [which is narrated
by Star Trek's Michael Dorn and even has an Enterprise-D flying
over head at the end of the show :) ]. The show reintroduced an
interest in the night sky for me.
Clouds
of Fire - Origins of Stars Twinkle, twinkle, little star.
How I wonder what you are? What is a star? Are all stars the same?
How do stars shine? "Clouds of Fire: The Origin of Stars," answers
these questions and explores the connection between the formation
of stars and the formation of everything else in the Universe
- from galaxies to planets to humans. [thru May 18, 2003]
