Sorry this post is so late, but Plushateer’s been ill so unfortunately, we haven’t had time to do much.

So back in March, my good furrend @BorisKitty had an amazin #scifipawty for his human’s birthday. BorisKittySciFiPawty It was SO much fun!
There was an incredible menu that @flicka47 put together. I laughed out loud at so many of the pawesome menu items! SciFiPawtyMenu

My main costume was Link, er, Neil from the funny webseries Legend of Neil which is an adultcomedy parody of the game Legend of Zelda. Check out the Legend of Neil webseries here.

Although, I dressed up in many costumes!

I won the Best in Show Category for the Costume Contest! WOO!!
Here’s a pic of the great prizes that @Boriskitty sent me!

Boris sent me a whole gang of stuffed bunnies and a HUGE stuffed carrot *snickers*
AND Dr. Horrible lego figurines that @BorisKitty’s human handmade as well as a cool 8-bit synthesizer from @thinkgeek!

Not only did I do some very cool animated gifs in my Legend of Neil costume, MeMoving, I also did a Special Edition “Cooking with Rabbits – Rabbits are the CHEF;NOT the Meal!!” with the Legend of Neil theme! LegendofNeilCookingShow
But the COOLEST thing was that the writer and creator of Legend of Neil tweeted me!

So yah.. that was my 5 seconds of fame! hee hee!!

Hare-Transplant Surgery

So as you all know, I’m a very busy bunny. With all the things I’m always doing, (cooking, playing video games, modeling, making movies etc), there’s a considerable amount of wear & tear to my fur.
The other day, we discovered a small bald patch under my chin.
I’m not sure if you can see it here..

Balding is very tragic for stuffed animals, because we do not have the ability to re-grow hair like some other anipals do. My brother, Little Laurence, had extensive hare-replacement surgery done to cover a bald spot that was 2 inches long!! And his procedure took almost 2 weeks! Each strand is carefully sewn in individually, so you can imagine, it’s a pretty time-consuming process.

At least my bald patch was still fairly small….
After a painful hour, here is the result:

As you can see, I’m still knocked out from the bunny anesthetics.
I’ve been told by my hare-transplant specialist that this will be an on-going procedure from now on because there are many areas on my fur that are “thinning”…
*sigh*

Anyway, I guess that’s the price I have to pay for being “active”!!

"Honest Scrap" Award

Apparently this award has been passed from blogger to blogger for years.
The award recipient must:

so.. uhm. check.

Next, 10 things about me? uh…
1. I am PAWESOME.. oh wait, you guys already know that one.. hmm..
1. I was bought during the Easter season in a dishware store. On our way home in the car, I was dancing to the radio and almost crashed the car because I made the driver laugh so hard…
2. I took over the job of “caring for Plushateer” from my predecessor, (Little Laurence, my brother, who had been doing the job for.. well, a very long time) because I can swing my legs and run. He can’t. He’s got stubby legs. – That’s a major prerequisite for “caring for Plushateer”!! you can see it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_PnGcZKWjQ (0:44)
3. I don’t eat any of the desserts I bake. I prefer salty foods rather than sweet stuff. (That’s ok, more for efurryone else!)
4. My cooking show started because we were taking pictures of the food we make and sending it to our cousin to make him jealous that he was missing out on a great meal.. *snicker*
5. Plushateer DOES carry me around EVERYWHERE.. (so you may bump into me out at the grocery store..)
6. We have to rearrange kitchen furniture every week to film the cooking show and it takes an average of 5-6 hours to cook, pose, photograph & edit each show.(costumes, hare and makeup, set up camera equipment & lighting, feed da bunny staff, convince Rufus to wear da pink apron… etc.)
7. I’m named after a guitarist, but I forget who..
8. When we go for car rides, I like waving at random people in other cars and try to make them wave back or honk their horn! heheheh..
9. I self teach myself everything…because schools don’t allow stuffed rabbits to enroll. (So, no, I don’t have any culinary, photography or film background..)
10. My biggest dream is to star in an inspirational movie I wrote about how a stuffed rabbit saves a human’s life.- Most of the script is done, but I don’t have the resources to make it =:( ……YET!

So yah..that’s me.

Now, 10 peeps that I ALWAYS enjoy reading their blog..
…uhm… I love reading EFURRYONE’s blog.. honestly, I can’t choose…They are all so great!!

Hi Everyone!
I am just so overwhelmed!! *wiping tears of joy* Thank you everyone, for voting for me in the Shorty Awards!! (For those of you who don’t know about Shorty Awards, they are kinda like the Oscars for Twitter – “Honouring the Producers of Short Real-Time Content”).
I am so honoured that you have nominated me for the categories of #awesome #food and many others! You guys are da bestest!
But more than anything, I appreciate everyone who helped campaign and I appreciate every one of you who said so many bunnderful things about me and my cooking show and all the things I do! I don’t have the right words to express how I feel.. thank you!

A special floppy earred bunny CONGRATS to @frugaldougal who placed 2nd in #nonprofit and @bztat who placed 3rd in #art!! Good work *high paw* They will have a chance to go to NYC for the finals! WOOO!

Does This Face Look Like I’m Gonna Cause Mischief?

So the other day, I went to a grocery store to buy some more ingredients for my cooking show. As I walked into the store, the security guard did a double-take and then gave me a really weird look.

I was bundled up because it was a really cold day and had my scarf over my face.

I’m gonna assume the security guy looked at me suspiciously because I looked kinda “thuggish” …
…I mean, it couldn’t have been my Plushateer who was carrying me. Plushateer looked fine.

A Hard Lesson for the New Year…

Christmas was great! Santa brought me lots of cool new clothes! But apparently Santa uses ebay, so I was told that the “new” clothes would need to be washed before I could wear it. ok, I can wait. The coolest of the clothes from santa was a pair of black and white sneakers and black roller skates!! W-O-W!! I’ll have ALOT of fun with those!!

But over the week from Christmas to New Years, we had so many guests over, and boxes and torn wrapping paper and new gifts were all piled into the bedroom to clean up later. My Plushateer threw the clothes in the wash, but put my roller skates and sneakers in a bag so that they could be hand-washed later, when there was a moment.
Stooopidly, Plushateer put the bag by the door.. and in holiday chaos, when the humans tried to clean up the boxes and throw out the wrapping, my shoes and rollerskates got accidenatlly thrown out too!! *SOB* !!!
WHAT??? You THREW OUT my skates and shoes???!!!!

I was so upset *sniffle* *sob sob*

Plushateer felt so bad that we went to BABW to buy the shoes and rollerskates. Unfortunately, the rollerskates were out of stock, so we only picked up the shoes.

But it turned out that ITGuy, I mean Santa, also felt really bad for what happened and reordered the shoes and skates from ebay, along with some new clothes! How sweet!

The lesson we learned?? – Throw stuff out by accident, and you will get more than before…
HAHAHA!!

No, I think it’s “Be more organized and take the time to clean up properly”…sheesh..

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and that Santa brought everyone exactly what they wanted!!
I was VERY lucky, and got SOO many pawesome gifts!!
My favourite gift was a cool Motorcycle from @falahime and @blindmaximus. But there were SO many great gifts and pretty christmas cards…THANK YOU EVERYONE!! HUGS!! xoxox

Sorry that I haven’t updated as often recently, but maybe I can make a new years resolution to update more regularly(?) *lookin at Plushateer*
